We have a a wide range of fine art papers from Hahnemühle, Canson and St. Cuthberts. We keep all papers in our range in regular stock.

There are a few broad categories of Fine Art Paper

- Baryta/Lustre/Satin
These have a lustre or slight glossiness and are especially suitable for colour or B&W photography. The coating is of very high quality (barium sulfate) so they are a far cry from low-cost resin-coated photo papers. The substrate of fine art papers tends to be either high quality alpha-celluose (based on the best of the wood pulp) of cotton. This style of paper is generally reminiscent of the best air dried fibre-based prints from the darkroom.

- Matte Smooth
These papers are suitable for fine art photography as well as art. There are velvety smooth and totally matte in appearance. They generally resemble a fine drawing paper or paper in a high quality photo or art book.

- Matte Textured
These are suitable for art reproduction especially watercolours and drawings. The have varying degrees of surface texture from pronounced stipple like an aquarelle to smooth and subtle fine stipple like an etching paper.
